“I’m driven by the championing of intellectual and design rigour within our profession. My passion is for the landscapes and ecology of Subtropical South East Australia”.
“I believe the landscapes in which we live work and play can be beautiful, sustainable, productive and resilient.”
“Applying the skill sets developed from working in a regional area rich in scenic beauty, that is ecologically complex, having highly contested landscapes experiencing strong growth of the built environment, to projects nationally and internationally, is the exciting opportunity for the practice.”
Mao has a Bachelor of Environmental Art and Design from Hangzhou Normal University, China and a Master of Landscape Architecture from The University of Adelaide.
Mao is fluent in English and Mandarin. His technical skill base has allowed us to add 3D modelling, documentation and video presentations to our workflow.
This allows us to offer precise documentation and clear visual communication across our project base. From rural residential builds to public spaces, subdivision development, rural towns and city precincts.
Mao is passionate about Landscape Architecture and his experience in both China and Australia will allow us to continue to extend and improve our service delivery.
AND LOIC LEFEBVRE
In the second half of 2015 we were fortunate to host Alexandre Anne and Loic Lefebvre as they undertook a foreign placement with us as a requirement of their training as Landscape Engineers in Lille “Les Grandes Ecoles d’Ingénieurs Ingénieur diplômé de l’Institut Supérieur d’Agriculture de Lille Spécialité Aménagement Paysager de l’Espace”
They contributed to a number of projects as we shared our methodologies and studio practice. We were able to introduce them to our diverse and beautiful environment. An insight into the landscape industry in Southern France was invaluable to us.
Maikel has returned to Holland. An invaluable addition to the office with experience in both Holland and Australia. Maikel contributed to a range of residential and commercial projects. Hopefully we will see him back in Australia soon.
With a strong background in residential design and an ability to respond quickly to a design or graphic presentation challenge George contributed to a range of rural residential projects with tight delivery times.
