Mark is a registered member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects He is the Director and Principal Landscape Architect at Ennismore Field Landscape Architects.


Mark is currently based in the Wet Tropics of Far North Queensland as Principal Landscape Architect at Cairns Regional Council and recognises the traditional owners including the the Djabugay; Yirriganydji; Bulwai, Gimuy Walubara Yidinji; Bundabarra and Wadjanbarra Yidinji; Mandingalbay Yidinji; Gunggandji; Dulabed and Malanbara Yidinji; Wanyurr Majay; Mamu and Ngadjonjii peoples on whose land he is privileged to be working.


Mark studied and practiced as a visual artist in the 1980’s and 1990’s. He has been a practicing Landscape Architect since 2002.
Mark provides Expert Witness in the Land and Environment Court of NSW in Landscape Character and Visual Impact Assessment, and Landscape matters generally.

He presented at the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects Annual Conference at Kelowna, British Columbia in 2017 and published in Landscape Australia Magazine in 2018. The paper discussed scenic amenity and ecosystem classification within the context of peri-urban and rural residential development in NNSW.


He is driven by the championing of intellectual and design rigour within the Landscape Architecture profession and allied fields and believes the landscapes in which we live work and play can be beautiful, sustainable, productive, and resilient.”
